An Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) working group on regulatory convergence has identified what it sees as the main at-the-border barriers to chemical trade in the region and outlined ways it might tackle them.
Tokyo (VNA) – Japan and Thailand agreed on June 27 to foster cooperation for the accession of Thailand to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

A call to action was released at the forum appealing for increased support from the international community so that LDCs can implement a trade agenda conducive to sustainable economic growth.
The bigger picture could include a U.S.-free trade pact.
The $420 million project, a Thailand-Vietnam joint venture, is set to open for commercial use in June 2019.
