The Thai Ambassador to Singapore has suggested that Thai SMEs capitalize on Singapore's policy to attract foreign investment.
Thai Ambassador to Singapore, Manopchai Wongpakdee revealed today that the Singaporean government has enacted policies to encourage SMEs in ASEAN countries and other nations to invest in the country. The Singaporean government aims to publicize the fact that most SMEs that have invested in Singapore have experienced rapid growth in the space of a few years.
Mr Manopchai indicated that Singapore is a lucrative opportunity for exports of Thai fruit and agricultural products, provided that quality is maintained in order to be competitive with Malaysia and other Asian countries.
