The 15th meeting of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee and Related Meetings was held from 17 to 21 October 2016 in Tianjin, China, with goods negotiations commencing on 13 October.
The 14th meeting of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) and Related Meetings was held from 15 to 19 August 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
New Zealand hosted the 13th round of RCEP negotiations, which included meetings of all working groups and sub-working groups.
Australia hosted over 670 delegates at the 12th round of RCEP negotiations from 17-29 April in Perth, Western Australia.
Korea hosted the 10th round of RCEP negotiations. Officials commenced market access negotiations on goods, services and investment.
Following the productive Intersessional RCEP Ministerial meetings and ahead of the Third RCEP Ministerial meeting (24 August, Malaysia), officials focused on the guidelines for initial market access offers for goods.
The 16th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) meeting and related meetings were held from 2 to 10 December 2016 in Tangerang, Indonesia.
At the third round of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Negotiations, the 16 participating countries pursued an intensive exchange of views to advance the negotiations in order to meet the target of concluding the negotiations by the end of 2015.
