The 23rd Round of Negotiations were held in Bangkok, Thailand from 17 to 27 July 2018
The 22nd RCEP Trade Negotiating Committee meeting and related meetings were held in Singapore from 28 April to 8 May 2018.
Trade ministers and officials from 16 Asian countries have agreed to speed up negotiations on outstanding issues and reach a basic agreement on a regional trade pact by the end of 2018.
The RCEP negotiation includes: trade in goods, trade in services, investment, economic and technical cooperation, intellectual property, competition, dispute settlement, e-commerce, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and other issues.
The 21st Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) meeting was held from 6-9 February 2018 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Parallel meetings were also held by the Working Groups on Trade in Goods, Trade in Services, Investment, Legal and Institutional Issues, and the Sub-Working Group on Rules of Origin. Other Working Groups and Sub-Working Groups held intersessional meetings.
The 20th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) meeting and related meetings were held from 17 to 28 October 2017 in Songdo, Incheon, Korea.
The 20th Round of negotiations for the 16-nation Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement started in Seoul, Korea early this week.
