About the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)
AEC is one of the three pillars of the ASEAN Community which was established in 12/2015 – the other two pillars are: ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC)
AEC aims at increasing economic cooperation and development among ASEAN countries, specifically:
a single market and production base,
a highly competitive economic region,
a region of equitable economic development, and
a region fully integrated into the global economy.

The AEC Portal of VCCI – www.aecvcci.vn – is one of the information and consultation channel of VCCI about AEC
The Portal includes two version – Vietnamese and English – will provide all important legal documents of AEC as well as AEC updated information and implementation of Vietnam.
Especially, this is the unique Portal in Vietnam providing detailed instructions and guidelines of how to read and understand AEC’s legal agreements on goods, services, investment, etc.
This Portal is set up and run by the Center for WTO and Economic Integration of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)
About the Center for WTO and Economic Integration of VCCI
The Center for WTO and Economic Integration is an organization of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), providing legal supports for Vietnam businesses on international trade issues.
Its mission is to improve the awareness, capacity and voice of the Vietnam business community in the negotiation and/or implementation of WTO, FTAs and other trade agreements of Vietnam, so that they could grasp at benefits and overcome challenges therefrom.
