The Agreement on Trade in Services under the framework agreement on comprehensive economic cooperation between India and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations1 (hereafter “the Agreement”) is ASEAN’s 6th regional trade agreement (RTA). It is however ASEAN’s 3rd Agreement covering trade in services. The Agreement is India’s 14th RTA but India’s 5th RTA in trade in services.
This report, prepared for the consideration of the Agreement on Trade in Servicesbetween India and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), has beendrawn up by the WTO Secretariat on its own responsibility and in full consultation withthe Parties.
